The magic of berry medicine with Guido Masé

Last year I listened to a presentation about the benefits of eating berries, and the topic stuck with me. I know we aren’t yet into the berry season, but give it another couple of months and berries will be here. So why are these foods so essential to our survival and health? My today’s guest have studied the topic for a long time, and he is here with us to share his wisdom.

Guido Masé RH(AHG) is a clinical herbalist, herbal educator, and garden steward specializing in holistic Western herbalism, though his approach is eclectic and draws upon many influences. He spent his childhood in Italy, in the central Alps and in a Renaissance town called Ferrara. After traveling the United States, he settled into Vermont where he has been living since 1996.

Guido has been called a botanical genius. His practice interweaves clinical experience, mythology, and science. He is chief herbalist at Urban Moonshine, clinician at the Burlington Herb Clinic, faculty member and clinical supervisor at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism, teacher in herbal medicine at the University of Vermont, and author of The Wild Medicine Solution and DIY Bitters.
