Food and lifestyle without a doubt are the most important contributors to your health and healing. And yet, we continue to struggle with them on a daily basis. My today’s guest is here to share with us his approach to food as medicine.
I met Todd Caldecott several years ago at an herbal conference, and was fascinated by his thoughts on food. They are firmly rooted in ancient traditions of Greek, Indian and Chinese Medicine. Todd’s own travel explorations and experiences helped him to create a practical model of what food is, how it impacts your health and how to make best choices based on your own needs.
Todd is a medical herbalist and practitioner of Ayurveda, in practice since 1995. He is a registered professional member of the American Herbalists Guild. Todd is the Executive Director of the Dogwood School of Botanical Medicine training aspiring clinicians. He is also an author/editor of three books including Ayurveda: The Divine Science of Life, Food As Medicine, and Ayurveda In Nepal.
