Alchemy of Herbs: Transform Everyday Ingredients into Foods & Remedies That Heal by Rosalee de la Forêt – A Review

I’ll begin this story by sharing with you I became a pharmacist before learning about herbs.

As a majority of conventionally trained healthcare practitioners, I started my journey by exploring medical literature (especially databases) and experimenting with a variety of dietary supplements.

Over the past 15 years my approach to herbs has changed significantly.  I mostly realized my initial tools served me well but it’s better and more fun to incorporate herbs into my meals and rituals.

That’s why I was absolutely thrilled when on Tuesday afternoon I went to my mailbox and found a package I’ve been expecting for the past month.

Inside the box I saw a beautiful newly-published book written by an herbalist I admire, Rosalee de la Forêt, RH.

Rosalee is a Registered Herbalist and a professional member of the American Herbalist Guild and the Education Director at LearningHerbs.

In her book Rosalee introduces you to the art and science of herbalism.  Instead of reciting a list of herbs and symptoms, she shares an elegant, ancient system of energetics.

Rosalee explains how preparations you make should be personalized to fit your unique constitution.

Using fabulous stories and anecdotes, Rosalee helps you to rediscover 29 well-known herbs and spices.  She skillfully describes medicinal effects and safety of each plant.

Rosalee also offers wonderfully delicious recipes to help you incorporate herbal creations into your life.

You’ll learn how to make and enjoy herbal cordials, fabulous drinks, scrumptious desserts and so much more.

In addition, you’ll feel more empowered as they heal your body and spirit.

Rosalee’s book is a great guide for anyone who is about to begin their herbal journey, and her recipe collection is perfect for any home chef.

Such a gorgeous book can only written by someone who respects the science and loves the wisdom of herbs, someone who wants to share her excitement and joy with you.

The book is currently #1 on Amazon Holistic Medicine, and #2 on all Amazon.

If you are as inspired by Rosalee’s first book as I am, click this link to check the book out.
